SYDNEY – Australias Prime Minister Anthony Albanese spent the past week alone in his official residence after testing positive for Covid-19, but it did not stop his government from announcing major new plans on issues such as cyber security, environmental protection and energy prices.

It has been a busy year for the new Prime Minister. Despite being elected only in May with a promise to deliver renewal not revolution, he has wasted little time in transforming the country.
