Activision Working on ‘Next Era’ of Call of Duty, Won’t Do Back-to-Back Black Ops, Modern Warfare Releases

Activision has laid out its strategy for Call of Duty games going forward, confirming that it won’t launch back-to-back Black Ops or Modern Warfare games in the future. The move comes after the company released Black Ops 7, the first back-to-back Black Ops release in franchise history.
